Procurement
What happens when we manage your purchasing, and the standards every supplier has to meet.
Many suppliers, one account and one contact
Food safety, insurance and specifications on file
Not owned by a caterer, wholesaler or supplier
We buy products from approved suppliers and sell them to you. Suppliers deliver direct to your site, and you pay us. Your contract is with us, so if something goes wrong, you deal with one business. The price you pay is set by us and includes our costs and margin.
• Product specifications written by chefs, so you get the same product every time
• Price checks against the market on your main lines
• One consolidated invoice and, once approved, credit terms
• Invoice checking and credits chased for shortages and substitutions
• Monthly reporting on your spend by supplier and category
Accreditations, insurance and product specifications are held on file for every supplier we use. [Confirm or expand the supplier standards copy.]
Every product comes with its ingredients and the 14 allergens declared. We never substitute a product without telling you first and passing on its allergen information. We can trace every delivery back to its supplier and batch, and if a product is withdrawn or recalled, we contact you straight away.
Savings are measured like for like: the same product specification, compared with the price you paid before. Prices move with the market, so we do not guarantee savings.
Chef Hospitality Partners is not owned by, and does not own, any caterer, wholesaler or supplier. If our consultancy work leads us to suggest our own procurement service, we say so, and you are free to buy elsewhere.
